Saint George’s Students Support Trust Games Football Tournament

Last Thursday, Saint George’s students had a fantastic opportunity to play an important role in this year’s Trust Games football event by supporting staff with refereeing duties throughout the day.

The event brought together pupils from across the Trust for an exciting series of football matches, and our students demonstrated excellent leadership skills, maturity and professionalism while helping to ensure the games ran smoothly.

It was wonderful to see Saint George’s students stepping into leadership roles and supporting younger pupils throughout the competition. They showed great encouragement, fairness and enthusiasm, acting as fantastic role models both on and off the pitch.

Current standings following the football event place Saint George’s in 9th position, but with one final event still to come, there is plenty left to play for.

We are looking forward to welcoming everyone back for the final Trust Games event - Athletics on Tuesday 14th July - where double points are available and the competition remains wide open!
