Applying for a Reception place for the Academic Year 2024-2025
The application process for admission into Reception in September 2024 will open on Friday, 3rd November 2023, with the closing date for applications being Monday, 15th January 2024. All applications must be made online at: Kent Primary School Admissions.
In addition to the online application, to apply for a place here at Saint George’s Primary Phase you will also need to complete a Supplementary Information Form, which includes details of our admission arrangements and oversubscription criteria. This form must be completed and returned to the Primary Phase office, or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org by Monday 15th January 2024.

Our open mornings will include a short presentation, the opportunity to ask questions and a tour of our wonderful school.
The open mornings will be held on Wednesday, 1st November, Tuesday, 7th November and Tuesday, 14th November with sessions at 9.15am and 10.30am.
We kindly ask that you book your place in advance and do not attend unless you have a confirmed booking, as there are a limited number of places for each session. Please note that our open mornings are intended for parents. If you are planning to bring your children, please call the office for further information before booking.

If your child is due to start primary school in September 2024, you can appeal if you are refused a place at one of your preferred schools on National Offer Day (Tuesday 16 April 2024).
You must submit your appeal before Tuesday 14 May 2024 for it to be considered by Tuesday 16 July 2024. Any appeals received after this time will be heard within 40 school days from the deadline, or where reasonably possible in line with updated guidance from the Department for Education.
For late applications, appeals should be heard within 40 school days from the deadline for lodging appeals where possible, or within 30 school days of the appeal being lodged where reasonably possible in line with updated guidance from the Department for Education.

To apply for a place outside the September Admissions process you will need to complete an In-year Application Form and a Supplementary Information Form. Both forms are available to download below and will need to be completed and returned directly to the Primary Phase office
Please note: If your child is offered a place at Saint George’s, you will be required to provide your child’s birth certificate and proof of address (two for you and one for your child).
